Our Products produces all of our Doors and Wood Mouldings at our factory in Rockledge, Florida. Wood products represent over 90% of our total volume with Thermofoil and Melamine products making up the additional 10%. We buy the majority of our hardwoods from suppliers located in the southeastern and northeastern part of the country. All of our lumber is purchased in rough form where it is then planed, cut and moulded into doors, rails, center panels and other types of profiles. We buy only FAS or Select material in Maple, Oak, and Cherry. All door rails and center panels are assembled using either mitered or mortise and tenon type construction. The completed doors and fronts are then machine sanded followed by detailed prep sanding by a qualified employee using orbital sanders. The door, drawer or other wood components are then stained and sealed in an automated finishing line. It is then scuff sanded by a trained employee before being top coated in anotherfinishing line. The Thermofoil doors are made of a MDF core (medium density fiberboard) and are routed on a CNC router that cuts out the door with a special diamond tooling. These doors are offered in 20 plus styles from round to square corners as well as a slab style door with a 90 degree round edge. They are sprayed with glue and placed on a membrane press which uses heat and pressure to apply the foil (plastic material) to the surface and edge of the door. This material is offered in several colors from white matte and white gloss to woodgrains which have the look of a maple or cherry door. We have also added a line of 20 new exotic foils. The thickness of this material ranges from 12 mil to 30 mil. The gloss colors are the 30 mil and the solid colors are the 12 mil with the woodgrains and smooth foils falling in the middle.
